Pink - F**king Perfect

I had to post this for the angst-filled teenage girl that still resides in me. The one who pouts and frets when she deems life as sucking right now, thinking that everyone and the world is against her. I don't think anyone grows out of feeling like that. As adults, we are taught to be more mature and bury those true feelings and then they explode when something minor happens. I haven't had as many of those days in my 20's as I did during my teens, but they are still there and only so much maturity can mask it.

So when life sucks and all I want to do is hide in my bed and text my best friends two provinces away, hopefully I'll remember this song.

Also, Tina Majorino, the best thing from from Napoleon Dynamite, is the girl in the music video and that makes me smile.

So true. Even though I know I'm so much better now in terms of how I present myself to the world (I'm still me, just turned way down in terms of volume), I still get that sense of spiraling once in a while like I did ten years ago.

I'm not the biggest Pink fan, but I appreciate the sentiment and message behind it. And this is a really good video. I love the ironic reversal at the end of it the most. I also dig Tina, but mostly from BIG LOVE where she's come back in the final season as Ben's potential girlfriend. And your right, she was the best thing in Napoleon Dynamite.

As for "angst ridden teenage girl", I hope it wasn't as bad as this.
